Ziua Internațională a Femeii este o ocazie să sărbătorim femeile care, prin realizările lor deosebite, au contribuit la o lume mai bună și la dezvoltarea unei societăți în care drepturile femeii contează. De asemenea, în această zi, este mai important ca oricând să ne amintim că egalitatea de gen rămâne încă un obiectiv pentru care trebuie să milităm și că respectarea drepturilor femeilor este esențială într-o societate democratică.

Unul dintre aceste drepturi este dreptul la educație, care înseamnă și o șansă în plus la o viață mai bună. În secolul XXI, încă există discriminare în ceea ce privește accesul la educație de calitate, iar fetele și femeile rome sunt unul dintre grupurile cele mai vulnerabile din Europa.

Prin proiectul Promoting the integration of Roma women (PROMA) contribuim activ la împuternicirea femeilor rome, prin intermediul educației. Astfel, în urma unei analize privind nevoile femeilor rome la nivel de educație formală și non-formală, am dezvoltat o platforma online, un instrument interactiv util atât femeilor rome, cât și formatorilor care lucrează cu acestea.

Ce este această platformă și de ce este utilă?

Platforma asigură un mediu virtual de învățare, punând la dispoziția utilizatorilor o colecție de materiale, module, manuale și instrumente de evaluare despre:

• Istoria, cultura și identitatea romani și percepțiile asupra acesteia;
•  Excluziunea socială;
• Împuternicirea femeilor rome;
• Tehnici de training adaptate femeilor rome;
• Bune practici și exerciții pentru îmbunătățirea experienței de învățare;
• Metode de dezvoltare personală și profesională pentru femeile rome.

O secțiune specială este rezervată Abilităților de Management al Carierei, dedicată femeilor rome care doresc să își îmbunătățească abilitățile profesionale prin patru etape:

• cunoașterea de sine;
• identificarea nevoilor pieței și abilităților necesare angajării;
• explorarea carierei profesionale;
• dezvoltarea de abilități digitale necesare pentru a fi considerat un candidat eligibil.

De asemenea, secțiunea pune la dispoziție și consultanță pentru construirea unui plan de management al carierei adaptat femeilor rome.

Această platformă este un instrument care permite formatorilor o mai bună înțelegere a particularităților culturii rome, implicarea în susținerea incluziunii sociale a femeilor rome, îmbunătățirea abilităților de a dezvolta și livra o experiență mai bună de învățare, care să conducă la reducerea abandonului școlar în rândul fetelor și femeilor rome .

De 8 martie, transmitem La mulți ani tuturor femeilor și îndemnul de a continua să lupte pentru ca drepturile tuturor femeilor să fie respectate, astfel încât ele să își poată atinge adevăratul potențial.

International Women’s Day is an opportunity to celebrate women who, through their outstanding achievements, have contributed to a better world and to the development of a society in which women’s rights matter. Also, on this day, it is more important than ever to remember that gender equality remains an important goal for which we must militate for and that women’s rights are essential in a democratic society.

One of these rights is the right to education, which also means an extra chance at a better life. In the 21st century, there is still discrimination in access to quality education, and Roma girls and women are one of the most vulnerable groups in Europe.

Through the project Promoting the Integration of Roma Women (PROMA) we actively contribute to the empowerment of Roma women, through education. Thus, following an analysis of the needs of Roma women in formal and non-formal education, we have developed an online platform, an interactive tool which is useful for both Roma women and trainers working with them.

What is this platform and what is its purpose?

This platform provides a virtual learning environment, providing a collection of materials, modules, textbooks and assessment tools on:

– Romani history, culture and identity and perceptions of it;

– Social exclusion;

– Empowerment of Roma women;

– Training techniques adapted for Roma women;

– Good practices and exercises to improve the learning experience;

– Methods of personal and professional development for Roma women.

A special section is reserved for Career Management Skills, dedicated to Roma women who want to improve their professional skills through four stages:

– self-knowledge;

– identifying market needs and employment skills;

– exploring the professional career;

– developing the digital skills needed to be considered an eligible candidate.

The section also provides counceling on building a career management plan adapted for Roma women.

This platform is a tool that allows trainers to better understand the peculiarities of Romani culture, to get involved in supporting the social inclusion of Roma women, to improve their skills for developing and delivering a better learning experience, leading to a decreasing in school dropout among Roma girls. and women.
